From Humble Beginnings to a Globally Leading Advanced Manufacturing Service Platform

In 1980, the Ministry of Fourth Machinery Industry issued a document deciding to establish the Shenzhen Branch of China Electronics Technology Import and Export Corporation based on the Shenzhen Transit Station of the Fourth Machinery Industry Ministry, which became the predecessor of CES. Generations of CES members have bravely led the charge with passion, sweat, and wisdom, marking an extraordinary development journey from infancy to a world-class platform.

1980

CES's predecessor — the Shenzhen Branch of China Electronics Technology Import and Export Corporation — emerged in Shenzhen, a land of opportunity, growing together with the Special Economic Zone.

1982

the Electronics Tower was completed, becoming Shenzhen's first skyscraper and the landmark building of the city's electronic information industry, marking the beginning of Shenzhen's electronics industry. In 2005, CES was selected as one of "Shenzhen's Top Ten Historic Buildings of Reform and Opening-up."

1987

CES became a founding shareholder of Shenzhen Development Bank (now "Ping An Bank"), the first listed bank in China.

1993

CES established a modern enterprise system and completed the shareholding system reform;
Electronics Technology Building’s Tower A was completed, becoming the tallest building in Futian and the third tallest in Shenzhen.

1994

the company was selected as a pilot unit for modern enterprises in Shenzhen, the only central enterprise based in Shenzhen to be included.

2000

CES's operating revenue surpassed 1 billion yuan.

2005

CES became the president unit of the Shenzhen Import and Export Chamber of Commerce.

2014

CES was selected as a "China Export · Leading Indicator(ELI) Sample Enterprise" by the General Administration of Customs of China;
· Ranked 12th in the Shenzhen Top 100 Enterprises.

2016

· CES was awarded the title of "Shenzhen Famous Brand".
· CES's own brand TAGWOOD returned to Africa and entered a nationwide chain supermarket in Kenya.

2018

·CES established an international smart hardware innovation center (BLACKARK)
·Ranked 93rd in Guangdong’s Top 500 Enterprises.

2019

·CES (Qianhai) Bonded Operations Center officially opened its warehouse
·Selected as one of "China's Top Ten Electronic Information Product Export Enterprises."

2022

· CES was recognized as a "National Supply Chain Innovation and Application Demonstration Enterprise."
· The Storage Wafer Testing Public Service Platform was officially launched, helping the national storage industry chain develop in a standardized and transparent manner. The project was featured by CCTV as a typical example of showcasing a higher level of opening-up platforms.
· Awarded the "Shenzhen May Day Labor Award."
· Ranked as one of the "Top 20 Foreign Trade Import and Export Enterprises for 2022 in Futian District, Shenzhen"

2023

CES was selected as a key national commercial logistics enterprise.

2024

CES Warehouse ranked in the "Top Ten Foreign Trade Enterprises by Scale in the Qianhai Comprehensive Bonded Zone for 2024."

2025

CES Recognized as "Guangdong Province Backbone Foreign Trade Enterprise "
